About the programs
The enterprise development programs at Two Square Pegs empower people in refugee, migrant, intersectional and under represented communities to harness their lived experiences and build their capacity to create local enterprises and lead community initiatives. We enable businesses and projects led by the community for the community to grow through enterprise training, mentoring and funding opportunities.
As a social enterprise led and run by former refugees and people with intersectional lived experiences, our goal is to build economic and social inclusion. Our work has a strong focus on supporting people living in public housing as well as those that face long term unemployment or underemployment (because we are from these communities). We are service designers, community development workers, social workers, business professionals and social entrepreneurs enabling opportunities for self determination and local innovation in order to create lasting prosperity for our communities.
Our Partners
The programs at Two Square Pegs are currently funded by the Victorian State Government, the City of Melbourne and the Scanlon Foundation
