Young Australian People 

Young Australian People (YAP) is a not-for-profit organisation is created and operated by residents of Melbourne’s public housing estates and multicultural communities. It is run by youth who have overcome the barriers that restrict disadvantaged young people from engaging fully in the workforce and are already part of the community.

YAP has provided references for the young people through volunteering and applying jobs. Every year, we connect with 300 young people. This includes approximately 40 dedicated volunteers who contribute their time and skills to our cause. Additionally, we are proud to have 6 youth board members from our community. Through our efforts, over 100 young individuals have successfully secured employment in various service sectors.
